About Bottle12

Bottle12 is a wine bar with a relaxed, casual, non-smoking environment, located in the heart of historic downtown Bonner Springs, Kansas. The bar was founded by a group of working professionals who happened to share a love for fine wines, who came together to create a place that encourages fellow wine lovers to explore a variety of fine wines, at all price points, from all the world’s great wine producers.

Our philosophy is to make Bottle12 a place where all wine lovers are welcome, from curious newcomers who are just getting into wine, to true connoisseurs who are always looking for the perfect wine for any occasion.

Bottle12 is one of the few bars in town that makes sure every glass tastes as true as the first.

To assure that every glass of wine tastes just the way the makers intended, Bottle12 uses a nitrogen preservation system that holds our wines at the proper temperature and allows every glass of wine to retain its palate-tempting taste.

Why is Bottle12 unique?

Each day we’re open, we create a list of the 12 wines we’ll be serving by the glass that day. The twelve bottles of wine are then placed into our nitrogen preservation system, with the twelfth slot reserved for a rare, expensive wine. The person who drinks the last glass from the twelfth bottle—Bottle12—then gets to choose another classy wine to fill that slot. This creative approach allows those who typically wouldn’t spend the money for a full bottle of a rare wine to enjoy a glass or two at a very reasonable price.

We have plenty of quiet corners for sealing a deal or stealing a kiss.
